#Fresno Film Festival is taking place, this weekend, in the Tower District!

The ninth annual Fresno Film Festival, presented by Fresno Filmworks at the historic Tower Theatre, will feature seven exclusive programs of short and feature-length movies, including special filmmaker appearances, social gatherings, and Q&A discussions.

This is like no other event in Fresno. Jefferson Beavers, board member, introduced me to the organization. Thanks to him, my friend and I attended the viewing of Oscar-nominated shorts, back in March. It was an amazing event! And it was my first time at the Tower Theatre. It was an amazing opportunity!
Fresno Filmworks does a great introducing independent films to Fresno. This is something organizers felt was lacking in our culture.
Nowhere else would a giant teddy bear eating a hot dog tacked to a wall make sense.
But it does at the newly opened Brown Bear’s Hotdogs, a little stand at Herndon Avenue and #Fresno Street, just north of Chili’s restaurant.
