Free historic tours of the Fulton Mall by the Downtown Fresno Partnership.
I’m happy to see this back! I stumbled upon a tour, last summer. Although Fresno was sunny and hot, the Fulton Mall is packed with shade-trees and the weather is tolerable. I learned a lot about the historic buildings, the art, and the history of the Fulton Mall. We even took a tour of the Warnors Theatre; one of the most beautiful buildings in Fresno! You’ll find yourself thinking, “What? There’s actually cool stuff in Fresno?”

Something new to look forward to this winter, in Fresno.
There’s going to be an ice rink on the Fulton Mall for a good two months! Nov. 8th-Jan. 13th.
Some evenings will have different theme nights. I’ll post later when I have more details. Eeek! I get more and more excited about this event.

CArtHop launched in downtown Fresno! Thursdays, 10am-12pm. Food trucks park on the north end of the Fulton Mall (in front of Fresno Brewing Co.). Summertime Pies, Dusty Buns, Casa de Tamales and Mattie’s Wood-fired Pizza. All vendors use local ingredients in their food.
You can see Kopi from KMPH News filming a group of people for the 10-day forecast. Love the setting; tall, historic buildings and shade trees.

This is all going on in an old bank vault!
The economy is making it difficult for new owners of downtown Fresno historic buildings to renovate them. But I do appreciate them for being creative and putting on events.
Time to dive back into my work, blogging and dancing to distract me from my nerves. I like telling myself these jitters are here for a good reason.
I got back from Camp Hollywood, yesterday. Although I missed the things/people I love in Fresno, it was lovely feeling carefree for several days. Now, I am back to reality. No more swing dancing for 8+ hours, spending money carelessly and being silly with new friends.
It’s time to juggle work with fun. This weekend I’ll be interviewed on a radio show. I’ll be discussing the past, present and future of the Fulton Mall with a fellow real estate broker. I’ll need to focus and continue doing more research!

The Fulton Mall has several water features scattered within 6 blocks. A few years ago, the City had to turn off the fountains in order to save money. Recently, several fountains have been turned on.
